Precision Track Time operates in the Northeast, and utilizes tracks in the New York Metropolitan area. The tracks that we frequent are as follows.
Pocono Raceway – The Tricky Triangle
Pocono Raceway is located in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, about 90 minutes from New York City. While some of you may immediately think, “Oh boy, that can’t be much fun…”, well, you should know that Pocono has several miles of challenging infield road course. There are a myriad of configurations that can be run (over 20, not including course reversals) on freshly installed and newly paved surface.
Southeast Option 1 – This short track of 1.37 miles is a challenging infield-only configuration. There are 14 turns on this course, with two straightaways. There are some off-camber turns to make it interesting as well.
Southeast Option 3 – Also utilizing the infield south and east track, this 2.15 mile course also incorporates NASCAR Turn 1 and a portion of the long-pond straight.
PTT Mega Configuration – A custom designed configuration, this 3.5 mile configuration incorporates two NASCAR banked turns, the NASCAR front and long-pond straight, all portions of all three infields.
Palmer Motorsports Park
Palmer Motorsports Park, located in Palmer, Massachusetts, is on the top of Whiskey Hill nestled in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. This track, 2.3 miles long, has over 190 feet of elevation changes (more than even Watkins Glen!). A track map is available here to check out.
